    Knix Underwear Review

Knix underwear, people- where have these been in my life for the past 15 years?! I guess it’s better late than never! I cannot recommend Knix Leakproof Underwear enough. You can tell that they were designed to fit a product gap. Created by women, for women. Designed out of the frustration with the status quo of period and leakproof options available. The star products in my opinion include the Dream Short and the Leakproof Underwear. While I have been using the leakproof underwear during my period, I should also mention that they equally intended for light bladder leakage. Apparently, postpartum bladder leaking is what inspired the founder Joanna to make…

    My Current Skincare Routine

After a ton of research and some trial and error, I have finally nailed down my skincare routine. The products below have been my go-to for about 4 months now and I’m thrilled – my hormonal acne has not caused me any issues and my skin is more even in colour and texture. I keep my routine pretty simple and straightforward – no 13 step process for me! Wise Words on Anxiety

This week, my wonderful aunt sent my sister and I this resource, Psychological First Aid for Frontline Health Care Providers. I decided to take a quick peek, even though I didn’t really think I needed it. After all, I was “fine”! Holy man was I wrong. I did not realize how much I needed to go through the workbook – I suddenly felt understood and refreshed. The above resource helped me realize how important it is to prioritize my mental health. In addition to seeking out resources, I need to continue to exercise, eat well, and maintain meaningful relationships by reaching out to others. But the biggest thing of all…

How I Learned to Love Running

Running is definitely my favourite form of exercise, but it hasn’t always been this way… I used to dread going for runs.  I am not a naturally good runner; I am neither fast nor good at long distances. But it is by far the most accessible form of exercise. You can do it anywhere, in any city, and there is no class or membership fee. There are also so many physical and mental benefits to running – I always feel so much better after a run. Here is how I went from hating it to loving it and how I keep enjoying it. 1) Keep it fun: I don’t time…

Yoga With Adriene Has Your Back

How is everyone feeling? With all that is going on with the COVID-19 outbreak, I wanted to share one of my favourite at home stress relievers – Yoga with Adriene videos on YouTube. Adriene’s videos have seen me through some tough times. When I was stressed studying for my licensing exams, I would go to the library all day, come home, have my daily “date” with Adriene, go to bed, then repeat it all the next day. Adriene’s video’s always felt like hanging out with a friend and were a bright spot in my day. Looking to do an awesome workout at home? Having trouble sleeping? Feeling stressed or anxious?…

In an effort to step up my skincare routine as a big birthday begins to approach, *cough 30 *cough, I wanted to learn more about the key ingredients I should be looking for. The price point for skincare can range from reasonable to bat-sh!# crazy for products with very similar active ingredients. After doing some research, I noticed a pattern in the biggest “work horse” ingredients. I have broken down ingredients that are beneficial below and how I have incorporated them into my skincare routine. Hopefully this will be helpful if you are also looking to step up your skincare game! Here are some ingredients to look for: Vitamin A/…
